ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a Chicago based General Contractor with local projects in/around Chicago set to break ground throughout the next few months. With a strong pipeline of commercial projects, they are seeking multiple Superintendents who can step in and lead their projects through to completion.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Superintendent will have overall construction responsibilities for ground-up commercial projects. The Superintendent will have a strong track record of completing commercial ground up projects, ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, field staff throughout project.

Select Responsibilities:

  • Completely review, coordinate, and implement the quality assurance program developed for the project
  • Monitor project labor productivity and material quantity requirements
  • Maintain project plans, communication, correspondence and subcontracts
  • Review, coordinate and implement the safety measures and applicable company programs & OSHA standards
  • Review project punch list and oversee completion of all project disciplines necessary to receive a certificate of occupancy
  • Review the Building Specification to confirm material, subcontractor, and equipment criteria and identify potential project document conflict

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least five (5) years of experience, specifically on commercial ground up projects
  • Exceptional knowledge of construction processes and procedures; ability to successfully manage complex projects through to completion
  • Advanced verbal & written communication skills, ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suites, Procore, Bluebeam, and other similar construction software
  • At least 3 years tenure at previous position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
