Job Title: Senior Environmental Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000

Location: San Diego, CA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Environmental Engineer to join our client's team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering with experience working on large-scale remediation projects. As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading various environmental remediation efforts, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from conception through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines.
  • Conduct site assessments, investigations, and analyses to support remediation efforts.
  • Develop and implement remedial action plans, considering technical, regulatory, and cost factors.
  • Mentor junior engineers and team members, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development.
  • Work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet environmental and compliance standards.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and environmental impact statements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 7-12 years of professional experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on remediation projects.
  • Professional Certification: PE (Professional Engineer) certification required, or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience in remedial design and implementation is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale environmental remediation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
