Job Description:

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day support of AWS infrastructure supporting enterprise applications
• Perform infrastructure maintenance, installations and upgrades of distributed systems
• Setup and enhance system monitoring and alert mechanisms using AWS tools to ensure health of the system
• Work support tickets from end users and product owners
• Troubleshoot issues with jobs scheduling, transport management, and printer administration.
• Perform system refresh, transport management, OSS notes validations and installs
• Enhance and support highly available (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
• Patching activities including operating system and databases
• Drive automation of infrastructure automation activities
• Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks for all infrastructure and networking components

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting AWS services and infrastructure
• 4+ years experience with Cloud Formation
• 3+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS
• 3+ years of scripting using Python, TypeScript or Ansible

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Red Hat Certificated Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
