Job Responsibilities
- This role will be acting as a liaison between two quality teams
- Develop, implement, lead, and manage comprehensive quality management systems (QMS)
- Lead, coach, develop and train the quality assurance and control teams
- Establish and enforce quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Identify and resolve quality-related issues (customer, supplier, and internal) in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with production, engineering, launch and other teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives impacting repeatability and reliability
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to proactively identify trends and areas for improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present reports on quality performance to senior management and the broader organization
Job Qualifications
- Must have 7+ Years of leadership experience
- Must have an automotive background
- Stamping background preferred
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent and experience
- Must have IATF knowledge
- Must be a hands-on working manager willing to help out at all facilities
- Understand PPAP and process flow
- Stamping background is a plus
- Will be overseeing two quality teams in different buildings This person acts as a liaison between the two and will build relationships with both
- 7+ Years of experience as a quality manager
- Experience with internal auditing
- Non-union environment experience
