Job Description FTE: Sunday thru Wednesday 12:30pm - 9:00pm (32 hours per week)

ORC's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is delivered along with the enhanced overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by providing a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized revenue cycle expertise.
The Admitting Representative is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Provides assistance, directions, and instructions to visitors, patients and the general public regarding hospital/patient information.

Required Qualifications: - 1 year Experience in customer service or healthcare registration.
- A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - H.S. Diploma or GED
- Coursework/Training Some college level coursework, particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistance.
- Upon hire: National Certification of CHAA
- Admitting Representative and third party payor experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
