Customer Account Specialist Summary This position is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service in a timely and accurate manner. You will need to utilize excellent communication skills, time management skills, computer skills, corresponding effectively in all customer interactions.
Essential Duties: - Update ERP system with weekly demand provided by customer
- Review all new Purchase Orders for accuracy prior to entering
- Acknowledge/re-acknowledge customer orders
- Solicit/maintain 12 month forecast
- Function as the primary point-of-contact for the company regarding customer inquiries, i.e., order status, pricing
- Work in customer portals; download updated release and submit ASN information etc.
- Communicate effectively, both internally and externally, through phone/email
- Perform other required tasks as assigned
Knowledge & Skills Summary: - Initiative-taking and ability to work in a team environment
- 2 year's Manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and proven history of following through with assignments.
- Strong computer skills
Work Schedule - 8-hour shift
- Monday through Friday
Job Type - Full time, non-exempt position
Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
