New Patient Scheduler (Bilingual English & Spanish) - FYZICAL & Southwest Sport and Spine Center, Inc Location: Las Cruces, NM

Role Overview: The New Patient Scheduler is patient-centered who possesses a concierge approach. Our ideal candidate will embody warmth, friendliness, and engagement while maintaining professionalism, respect, and courtesy
Required: Bilingual. Read, write, & speak Spanish.
Responsibilities: - Schedule new patients for initial evaluations in physical therapy.
- Answer multiple phone lines and provide exceptional customer service.
- Schedule incoming patient referrals.
- Maintain and update information on providers' schedules.
- Ensure accuracy of patient data entered in the EMR system.
- Assist with Check-in/Check-out duties as needed.
Requirements: - Bilingual. Read, write, & speak Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an outpatient medical office setting.
- Professionalism and exceptional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle a heavy phone call volume.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous experience with EMR systems.
- Familiarity with insurance verification and eligibility.
- Strong critical thinking skills for cross-referencing provider schedules.
