Bartender Position   - 

Join a passionate team  of hospitality professionals at Carlotto, a 75-seat Italian restaurant concept designed by David Rockwell that neighbors its highly acclaimed sister restaurant, Oceans.  Qualified team members will represent our commitment to excellence and have opportunities to establish a fulfilling career path with Toptable, a leading hospitality group based out of Vancouver, Canada with both Oceans and Carlotto located in NYC (Gramercy Park).

With a philosophy that the soul of the restaurant is found in its kitchen, we specialize in sustainably-sourced ingredients to compliment our vast menu that includes defty crafted housemade pasta. 

We are seeking a Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, organized, confident, and committed to delivering memorable guest experiences. A minimum of two years bartending experience in a fine-dining setting and/or craft cocktail venue is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)

-Prepare for and inspire staff to deliver a memorable beverage experience nightly
-Be well-versed in classic cocktail culture
-Deliver superior customer service through effective training and education
-Maintain exceptional general bar cleanliness and equipment to optimal specifications
-Participate in inventory counting and reconciliation on a monthly basis
-Support Management and Beverage Team with the ordering and restocking of all bar-related product


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

-A professionally recognized wine and/or spirits certificate is an asset
-Creative mixology background with the ability to curate a cocktail program
-Possesses solid background knowledge of spirits
-Highly committed to a premium level of quality
-Skilled at developing and creating beverage experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
-Strong verbal and written English communication skills
-Comfortable dealing with media and VIP guests
-The ability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

-Outgoing personality to win over guests and act as an Ambassador for Carlotto
