My client are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee hospitality and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring project completion on time and within budget, and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards Client Details My client are a top 40 ENR General Contractor with Head Quarters based in Michigan. In their commercial division their projects include: Healthcare, Hospitality, interiors, education, senior living, institutional, religions, multifamily. Description Project Oversight: Manage the entire construction process for hospitality projects, from ground-breaking to final closeout. Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet key milestones and deadlines. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety regulations are met and that the site complies with local, state, and federal construction standards. Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work being performed by subcontractors to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and standards. Communication: Maintain regular communication with project managers, school officials, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and any issues. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any challenges that arise during the construction process, including delays, material shortages, or site issues. Profile Qualifications: Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects or similar hospitality projects. Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field experience preferred. Experience in a superintendent or similar role, preferably within hospitality or commercial construction.
