Job Description: DUTIES:\n\nResponsible for problem solving, developing, sampling, and testing packaging to meet customer needs utilizing supplied software, equipment, and materials.\nLearn to design point-of-purchase, protective, E-commerce, signage or multi material solutions.\nWork closely with Sales to collect and process information to meet customer projects.\nTravels to customers as needed for project completion and to help build customer relations.\nMaintain detailed specifications, and documentation.\nLearn and remain competent in the capabilities and limitations of our manufacturing equipment.\nLearn and utilize Retail guidelines (Walmart, Aldi, Home Depot, etc)\nLearn and stay current with testing protocols such as Hazmat, ISTA, Amazon, Club Stores.\nManages individual workload of assigned projects using project management software.\nTimely completion of projects to satisfy internal and external clients.\nSupport Customer Service and Manufacturing in processing new item orders to ensure all new items meet expectations.\nLearn manufacturing capabilities to effectively route designs with collaboration from production.\nKeep work Areas clean and organized for safety and aesthetic purposes.\nComplies with Green Bay Packaging – WI Sheet Plants policies and procedures.\nAddition responsibilities assigned by management\n\n QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nMaintain effective working relationships with all staff and partners.\nAbility to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.\nAbility to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.\nKnowledge of GBP product and processes.\n\n Four-year degree in Packaging or similar engineering program, previous Design or Engineering experience in corrugated preferred.\n\n\n Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred. \n\n\n Familiar with Artios CAD or similar software preferred.\n\n\n Familiar with Tops or CAPE Palletizing Software preferred. \n\n
