Sign on Bonus up to $3000 (prorated for part-time) As a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the nurse provides high quality care, adhering to medical standards. The nurse promotes a safe and therapeutic environment by treating patients in a compassionate and professional manner.The Tewksbury Treatment Center is a detoxification program dedicated to helping men and women by providing 24 hour nursing care to monitor an individual’s withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs and alleviate symptoms. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Responsibilities:Records and reports all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments and changes in patients safety statusAdministers medications to patientsCollaborates with team in providing health information and maintains clients’ medical recordsResponds to patient care needs/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environmentAssists with the admitting, discharge and transfer processParticipates in treatment team meetings & assists with development of care plansQualifications:Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered NurseCurrent certification in CPRExperience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not requiredAs a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
