Responsible for Guest Experience
- Provide each guest with a gracious and friendly welcome and a warm and sincere goodbye.
- Meet and exceed guest expectations by following up with requests and maintaining the tables
Responsible for Restaurant Set up
- Assist the server in the set-up of the dining room.
- Organize service stations in preparation for service.
Responsible for Dining Room Maintenance
- Prioritize water service and levels, bread service, and china, glass and silver Mis-en-place as described in the steps of service.
- Maintain flow of service and timing by efficiently clearing and marking tables for each respective course
- Maintain a clean and organized station and service area during service.
- Clean and reset each table in an efficient and timely fashion when guests depart
- Complete all opening and closing side work correctly and timely.
Responsible for F&B knowledge
- Show a strong menu knowledge. You should be able to identify every dish and be able to describe it to a guest. Must know each dishes appropriate markings and be able to present each dish to the guest if asked.
- Have basic knowledge of classic/specialty cocktails, beers and wines by the glass.
Responsible for Non-Service Restaurant Procedures
- Participate in daily pre-service meeting.
- Maintain a positive, gracious and friendly attitude while contributing to build a teamwork-based environment.
- Practice “internal hospitality”
- Follow the uniform and grooming policy and take pride in your appearance.
