this post is for our shiny new pizzeria. housed in *the beer temple* in avondale.
hi! we're still middle brow here. we still make wild things. we still make precious things look really, uh, real. and, uh, less precious.
this time, we're adding some rusticity to already-rustic dee-troit pizza. more in keeping with pizza categories: we're making artisanal dee-troit pizza. at the world famous beer temple. and we're looking for someone to helm the kitchen over in avondale .
we'll be serving pizza lunch daily starting at 11a. and we'll be open for pizza through the end of dinner.
middle brow will make the dough at our commissary bakery off-site. along with some other heavier prep items. the kitchen at the beer temple will be responsible for managing such dough, along with r&d'ing, prepping and managing all other pizza mise. and a variety of garde manger items.
we're particularly excited about candidates with a passion for pizza. with a passion for systems. with decent comfort utilizing google sheets. with a zen-like approach to the day-to-day grind. and with a good sense of how to work sustainably in this industry.
pay varies with experience. as with other middle brow entities, managers tend to max out around 45 hours/week. benefits include PTO. 401K matching. 70% health insurance premium contribution.
