Description The Production Clerk will coordinate inventory management through production usage for the Rancho facility. This position will maintain inventory accuracy through the utilization of the WMS system and ERP movement. The clerk will work with Production and Warehouse staff to record all product movements accurately. The clerk will also work with accounting to maintain an accurate financial account of inventory raw goods and finished production goods.
This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Core Responsibilities: - Coordinates with accounting cycle counters to investigate any discrepancies.
- Monitors flow of product through WMS.
- Become an 'expert user' for WMS and production ERP systems.
- Assists with warehouse and production staff to verify that all users of WMS and ERP are correctly trained and utilizing systems.
- Compiles, verifies and reports on inventory levels and movement daily
- Audits processes regarding inventory movement to verify that all departments are utilizing available tools and following procedures.
- Provides periodic statistical information to management regarding inventory levels and movement trends.
- Investigates shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies, discovering the root cause to eliminate further issues
- Responsible for returns of goods
- Assist in timely communicating inventory variance findings and recommendations to management, monitoring issues, and validating variances.

- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
- Adheres to all safety guidelines, including Standards of performance (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Qualifications Qualifications and Educational Requirements: - Two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office, Data Bases, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management.
- Ability to develop effective and appropriate formal communications, including plans and schedules.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Specific vision abilities this job requires include close vision, distance vision, color, and depth vision.
