What you will do
The Entry-Level Electrical Engineer will contribute to the design, analysis, and development of air-cooled chiller systems. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to work on impactful projects and grow their skills in a collaborative, global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of electrical power panels, control panels, and wire harnesses in compliance with UL, CSA, and CE codes.
- Collaborate with software engineers to develop and document control logic strategies using tools like flow charts and diagrams.
- Support laboratory testing, analyze data, and recommend solutions to improve system performance.
- Select appropriate electrical components, including motors, drives, and circuit breakers.
- Prepare and review technical documentation to support designs.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Learn and apply relevant regulatory codes (UL, NEC, CSA, CE).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
- 0-3 years of experience (internships or academic projects are welcomed).
- Strong analytical skills in electrical loads, power circuitry, and control logic.
- Knowledge of electrical components such as motors, inverter drives, and circuit breakers.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%, including internationally.
