About the Role

The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its global organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, governance, and leadership, driving the growth and impact of the association in alignment with its mission. This role requires a passionate individual with a Master's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, philanthropy, or a related field, and at least 10 years of proven leadership in senior executive roles within nonprofit organizations, preferably related to philanthropy and/or membership associations. The CEO will be the public face of the organization, advocating for the highest standards of ethical fundraising and professional practice, and will be expected to have a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape, emerging trends in fundraising, and the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.Key responsibilities for the President and CEO include championing the organization's mission, setting a strategic vision, ensuring organizational excellence and governance, and leading membership and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in strategic planning, execution, and driving measurable results, as well as strong financial acumen and experience in fundraising. They must demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access, and possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The role also involves providing leadership for the organization's affiliated foundations, overseeing financial sustainability, and serving as a trusted partner with donors and other stakeholders. The candidate should be an inspiring leader, capable of building and managing high-performing teams, and be willing to travel extensively to represent the organization on a global stage.
