About the Role

The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering a culture of philanthropy, managing critical funder relationships, and serving as the external representative for the organization. Additionally, the role involves Foundation leadership and management, including the crafting of a creative and strategic vision for programs, and the development of annual budgets.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of ten years' of senior-level experience in nonprofit development, with a proven track record in fundraising. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with the ability to inspire and engage both staff and volunteers. Professional skills should include experience in all areas of nonprofit operations, from staff development to budgeting, and the ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. The role requires a commitment to the mission of the Foundation and the ability to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of the organization. The Executive Director will be expected to achieve major objectives within the first 12 to 18 months, including the development of a visionary funding plan and the cultivation of a diverse Board of Trustees.
