About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial administration of its facilities. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including general accounting, data processing, materials management, information systems, and financial reporting. This role is pivotal in ensuring that internal controls are robust, accounting systems are effective, and financial reporting is accurate and timely. The successful candidate will also be involved in strategic initiatives to support the growth of the facilities, provide financial analysis for future endeavors, and consult with regional and corporate personnel on financial matters. Additionally, the CFO will be tasked with developing operating policies, preparing budgets, and actively participating in various meetings.Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A CPA certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' healthcare finance experience, with at least 5 years in a hospital CFO role. Experience in a for-profit healthcare setting, particularly in a senior leadership capacity, and a strong background in an integrated health delivery system are highly valued. The CFO must possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, be adept at strategic planning, and have a proven track record of financial management in a healthcare environment.
