About the Role
The Company is seeking a Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs to serve as its chief academic officer and lead the development and implementation of a transformative academic strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that educational offerings align with the institution's mission, providing visionary leadership for the academic portfolio, and overseeing the development of high-quality educational programs, student-success initiatives, and research activities. This role is pivotal in shaping the institution's strategic direction, advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and leading efforts to improve student retention, graduation, and success. The Provost/VPAA will also play a critical role in digital transformation, integrating advanced learning technologies, and expanding educational opportunities to meet the evolving needs of students.Candidates for the Provost/VPAA position at the company should hold a doctoral degree, have earned tenure at the rank of full professor, and possess a minimum of 7 years' university faculty experience. Additionally, a minimum of 7 years' in progressively responsible academic administration positions is required, along with a strong track record of scholarship and service. The role demands a leader with impeccable academic credibility, a commitment to the teacher-scholar model, and a proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement. The Provost/VPAA will work collaboratively with faculty, deans, senior administrators, and external stakeholders, and must be adept at driving innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
