Job Description

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Mid-Atlantic Regional President and Senior Management Team and is responsible for all general office activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, and department activities for all members of the Senior Management Team, ordering and/or picking up lunch as requested.
Prepare general correspondence, memos, reports, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final documents. Create or modify presentations.
Order and maintain adequate inventory of office, janitorial, and other supplies for multiple locations.
Run errands as needed for members of Senior Management or general office needs.
Sort and distribute incoming mail and make arrangements for outgoing shipments.
Handle confidential and non-routine information appropriately.
Organize Company events while working independently and/or as part of a team on special or ongoing projects.
Provide clerical assistance to the Accounting Department with Accounts Payable data entry.
Coordinate and oversee the daily administrative tasks associated with the employee Uniform program for multiple locations.
Oversee general office services and equipment providing general assistance with related issues, i.e., janitorial service, trash removal, postage, copier, etc.
Job Requirements
Qualification/Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience to include supporting multiple people.
Must have a valid Driver"s License, insurance, and reliable transportation. This position requires the incumbent to run errands and travel between company locations in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Must have or meet the qualifications for obtaining a TWIC card required.
Must have knowledge of general office administrative procedures and operation of standard office equipment.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with people at all levels within the organization and all visitors, customers and vendors.
Must be open to and flexible with performing a wide variety of tasks, changing priorities, and multi-tasking.
Must have strong skills in the following: initiative, attention to detail, grammar, proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.
Must have strong analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports/projects, find and present solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
