Job Description Summary The Inventory Control Analyst analyzes and helps maintain inventory accuracy and integrity for Sales Center locations under the supervision of the Assistant Inventory Controller.
Essential Duties - Set up and monitor cycle counts and full physical counts.
- Research all cycle count variances.
- Research and enter all inventory adjustments from Sales Centers.
- Monitor all transfers and resolve all transfer variances.
- Monitor and research all negative on hands.
- Understand how Inventory activity affects the general ledger.
- Communicate and work closely with the Inventory Control team as well as the Sales Centers.
- Excel reporting as requested.
And here is what you will need to be successful: Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Control or related area (Accounting, Accounts Payable or Purchasing).
- Dependable and detail oriented, with a high sense of urgency.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime on occasion when necessary.
- Experience in AS400 a plus.
- Wholesale Distribution related experience is a plus.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.
