Please Note: This role supports the sale and service of employee benefits programs to organizations. Our focus is small group under 50 lives. This is NOT an employee benefits administrator role such as one might find as part of a Human Resources team .


SALES AND INSURANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The Role: This role can be entry level. Candidates with success as a Customer Service Representative but little Employee Benefits experience may apply. The role will focus on running quotes, processing additions and terminations to plans and creating enrollment materials. The candidate(s) chosen will be good with technology and detail oriented, as they will be auditing data often. Compensation will depends in part of qualifications and experience in the sales and services of Employee Benefits Programs.


Qualifications:

  • Experienced Required. The ideal candidate has some understanding of the group renewal cycle and how to support a producer with admin tasks. Experience with medical practice clients will be a plus.
  • Licensed – Current license required.
  • Quick learner – We are looking for someone who can pick up new things rapidly. A quick starter who can integrate new knowledge will be set up for success.
  • Computer literate – Ready to use and learn technology, as we work in a variety of portals and software programs. The candidate chosen will be comfortable with Microsoft Office's basic suite of products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Multi-tasking - Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Cross-training opportunities will be available for life insurance, annuities, and long-term care.
  • Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.
  • Organization – Ability to plan and operate in a well-organized manner.
  • Team Oriented – Ability to incorporate well with the existing team, as well as maintain a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.
  • Engaged – Show us you want to be successful and enjoy making connections with people, and you will see opportunities come your way. Our ideal candidate will want to take the ball, and run with it!


Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with prospects – WE PROVIDE LEADS!
  • Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers
  • Protect the best interests of both our clients and insurance company partners.
  • Quote and sell policies
