Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Mammography Technologist” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Brooklyn, NY. Job Description:

Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: 40 hrs/week

Shift: 5x8 Days (8 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $2400.00- $2550.00 Weekly DOE

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and accuracy. Responsibilities include following physician instructions, positioning patients, capturing high-quality images, and addressing patient inquiries. Requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and compassionate communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare examination rooms for patient procedures.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals for clear imaging.

Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.

Input scan data, adjust density/contrast, and monitor video displays.

Monitor patient safety during exams and minimize radiation exposure.

Produce diagnostic images, relay findings to physicians, and update records.

Manage daily schedules, prioritize emergencies, and track radiographic supplies.

Conduct maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Qualifications:

Post-primary certification in mammography from ARRT.

Valid radiologic technologist license issued by NYSDOH.

Initial training in tomography is required.

Minimum of 200 cases in the past 2 years of experience (required).

Ability to perform both X-ray and mammography (preferred).

BLS certification preferred
