Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for an CT Tech position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Cincinnati, Oh. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Job Title: CT Tech

Location: Cincinnati, Oh

Schedule: 36 hrs/week

Shift: 3x12 Evening (12 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $3450.00- $2570.00 Weekly DOE


Overview:

We are looking to employ a skilled CT technologist to operate our CT scanning equipment and capture diagnostic images that are of good technical quality. The CT Technologist’s responsibilities include taking inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring that the radiologic equipment is in good working order, and adhering to established guidelines on hygiene and infection control. You should also be able to monitor patients throughout the scanning procedure to identify and respond to any allergic reactions to the contrast agents.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of specific body parts as requested.

Produce quality images for radiologist interpretation and function independently with minimal supervision.

Greet patients, verify identity (name and DOB), and take pertinent medical history.

Review orders, current medications, allergy information, and completed patient questionnaires.

Explain procedures to patients, addressing concerns and ensuring their understanding.

Position patients, scan, and archive procedures according to established protocols.

Administer contrast media using proper venipuncture techniques and document appropriately.

Verify physician orders for accuracy and adhere to established policies and protocols.

Apply radiation-reducing techniques without compromising image quality.

Assist physicians with invasive procedures and support co-workers in other modalities as needed.

Ensure patient safety by observing and assisting as necessary to prevent falls or other injuries.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, core values, and imaging center standards.


Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of related CT experience.

ARRT Certification.

Ohio Radiographer License.

BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
