Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Ideal Start Date: January 27th
Location: San Diego, CA – onsite role
Hours: 8 am – 5 pm PST
Rate: $23/hour
Contract Duration: 9 months with the potential to extend
**An assessment will be required as a part of the submittal process. This will include: a computer literacy test.**
Job Description : This position will perform the billing, reconciliation, maintenance and customer service functions within the healthcare space.
Responsibilities:
- Database maintenance and research to generate and distribute contracts and member information.
- Identify, research and reconcile billing payments.
- Set up and maintain member data.
- Ensure bills are correct and mailed timely by interacting with benefit administrators to answer questions and explain Health Plan policy.
Preferences and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum HS Diploma required.
- 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
- 1 years customer service experience over the phone required.
- 6 months data entry experience required.
- Proficiency in math, data entry, typing, spelling and grammar, for which tests are required.
