A leading healthcare organization has an immediate need for an Associate AID Therapist . This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable hours for licensure! In this role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including intake specialists, psychiatry providers, and nursing staff, to assess and coordinate care for patients. You will be responsible for conducting diagnostic interviews, assessing safety risks, and informing mental health treatment plans under the clinical oversight of a licensed supervisor.

Pay: $25/hr - $35/hr
This position will allow candidates to gain hours needed to receive professional licenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic interviews and assessments via telehealth.
- Perform crisis risk assessments and develop safety plans for patients in need.
- Collect, analyze, and integrate relevant clinical data to support admissions to appropriate mental health care levels.
- Render provisional mental health diagnoses to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, including psychiatry providers, intake staff, and interdisciplinary resources.
- Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care , considering gender, cultural, and age-specific factors.
- Ensure patients receive an effective and positive care experience aligned with organizational policies.
- Deliver flexible clinical support across the system as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related therapeutic field is required
- Actively pursuing or holding licensure in the state of Minnesota.
- Two years’ experience in behavioral healthcare settings is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of DSM-IV (or later) diagnostic criteria.
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive patient situations.
- Clear and effective communication with clinical directors and external professionals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and shift between them seamlessly.
