Job Responsibilities:
· This position will be focused on driving New Business Development (NBD) within the Fiber optics assembly market in North America to deliver high margin, top line sales growth.
· The customer interactions will be mainly focused at OEM, Distributors &/ or System integrators for Structure Wiring, Telco or Data Centre infrastructure opportunities
· Providing weekly and monthly calls/reports on business activities encompassing Business Development activities, articulating clearly the quantitative impact to the business
· Ensure regular interactions and good relationship management with customers, call planning and preparation, prospecting for new sales.
· Responsible for the development and implementation of specific customer strategies
· Utilize budget of travel and promotion in most effective manner while maintaining necessary level of interaction by account
Main Activities:
· Build up network and customer intimacy throughout the value chain in order to identify new opportunities at an early stage and engage resources accordingly to support them.
· Identify and manage key opportunities to support short to long term business growth
· Ability to propose development strategies and tactics (including potential partners and channels to market)
· Track and report new business development progress
· Collaborate with respective Optec sales rep, Product manager, Field application engineer or engineering term to ensure successful business development.
· Contribute to the consolidation of competitive and market intelligence to enable rapid decision making
· Being at ease and prepared in front of the customer and/or management, including good presentation skills. Provide business review presentations, both internally and externally.
· Ability to identify and assess customer unmet needs and growth opportunities,

Qualifications / experience required:
· Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical related curriculum
· Previous experience in the Telco, Structure Wiring, Data center infrastructure
· 10+ years’ experience in sales and/or business management.
· Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, negotiating skills.
· Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, closing a deal/sale, finding new sales and bringing ideas forward that may add value to the overall company.
· Ability to identify, understand, articulate and respond timely to customer needs and desires within the context of company’s account goals; Ability to interact with all levels of customer personnel.
· Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a cross functional as well as multi-cultural environment
