Location: Hendersonville, North Carolina

Crossnore Communities for Children is seeking a Child and Family Therapist on our Hendersonville Campus. Associate-level and fully licensed candidates are encouraged to apply.


Crossnore utilizes our Sanctuary Model of Care to create a trauma-informed environment for the children we serve, as well as our staff. Our team serves children in our residential care program as well as children in our local community including schools and doctors' offices. Crossnore strives to support our clinical team by helping them achieve certifications such as: TF-CBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy. As a Child and Family Therapist/Care Coordinator, you will work with a supportive team to create a therapeutic milieu for children and families, where you can successfully provide individual, group, and family therapy in a relaxed trauma-informed setting.


Status: Full-Time


Hiring Range: $53,000 - &68,000K annually, $3000 SIGN ON BONUS

  • Associate Licensed - $53,000 annually. Salary is based on education and experience. All associate licensed therapists will start at $53K unless there is additional relevant experience in the human service field (excluding internship).
  • Fully Licensed - $60,000 - $ 68,000 annually

JOB INFORMATION


STATUS : Full Time, Exempt


QUALIFICATIONS

? Education/Experience

? Must have a valid and active license in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); fully licensed preferred; Provisional or Associate License required.

? Experience as a therapist working with children and families, preferably in a mental health setting, preferred.

  • Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical oversight and support to ensure quality services, participate in client assessments, staffings, and treatment team meetings.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and community professionals, build and maintain positive, problem-solving relationships with clients and staff.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely and cooperatively with other agency staff to coordinate services, participate in program development and community-wide projects.
  • Professional Development: Embrace ongoing professional development to improve skills and knowledge, maintain a professional image and conduct.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Technological Proficiency: Utilize technology to enhance communication and collaboration.
  • Inclusivity and Diversity: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
  • Problem-Solving and Crisis Intervention: Provide support and counsel in crisis situations, participate in a rotation schedule providing twenty-four hour clinical on-call services.
  • Research and Evidence-Based Practice: Engage in evidence-based practice and research-informed interventions.
  • Referral and Linkage: Serve as a referral source and linkage for additional services within the agency or community setting.
  • Systemic and Strength-Based Practice: Demonstrate a solid understanding of systemic and strength-based practice.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community-wide projects and program development which address the needs of children, youth, and families.
  • Professional Boundaries: Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information in accordance with agency regulations.



DAYS/HOURS OF POSITION and WORK CONDITIONS:

Typical hours are 1st shift, Monday-Friday, though the schedule is flexible based on client needs. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends as dictated by the demands of the position, including client admissions and on-campus support. May involve contact with clients and/or family members who may be hostile, resistant, and violent.
