Job Description

Dreamchasers Community Services (DCS) is a mental health services agency that is expanding its scope throughout the State of New Jersey. DCS provides high quality mental and behavioral health services to youth up to 21 years of age through our contract with the New Jersey Children's System of Care (CSOC). We are looking for energetic licensed therapists and clinicians to provide in-home and community-based counseling to children and families in need.

The Intensive In-home (IIC) Therapist position is completely remote and entirely flexible. It entails a hybrid combination of rendering in-home and virtual mental health services for some of NJ's most in need youths and families. You are able to set your own hours in accordance with your selected youth. Work when you want and how much you want, all the while making a difference in your community!

Requirements:

  • Valid LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LAMFT, or LMFT in NJ
  • Professional liability insurance
  • At least one to three years of documented experience with young adults, adolescents, or children as well as particularly at-risk individuals that have behavioral, emotional, or learning issues
  • Valid driver’s license and functioning car
  • Computer (Mac or PC) and applicable skills (Email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel)
  • Clean criminal background check (we pay for this) with no history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children or vulnerable adults
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities and sound judgment
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and collaborate with community resources
  • Bi-lingual is a plus!!!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health counseling services to assigned youths
  • Conduct behavioral therapy sessions with youths using techniques determined by your professional judgement
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians and care managers to support youth
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Log progress notes in the State's EMR system, Cyber
  • Obtain weekly Service Encounter Delivery Forms
  • Complete any requested paperwork in a timely manner

Pay: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour


Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
