We are looking for talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a quick-paced and high-energy work environment. The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Basic Function:
Actively seeks to increase sales volume servicing existing accounts; growing sales at existing accounts and identifying new accounts in a highly competitive environment servicing the industrial, commercial and food industries rigid packaging needs.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manages inside sales customer base
- Understands customer’s business and creates plans, pricing and strategies to fill the marketplace
- Fields new business inquiries, determine the opportunities and handles accordingly
- Prospects new business
- Understanding of competitor’s products, processes and capabilities
- Consults and adds value as a resource to the customer, be proactive as a valued partner
- Team player who can help the sales organization achieve overall results
Requirements:
- 4-year degree or relevant experience
- 2+ years experience in sales or related background
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies
- Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of financial and business plans
- Ability to develop value-selling skills
- Strategic thought processes
- Ability to develop strong negotiating skills
- Thorough follow-up and record-keeping skills
