Revs Institute, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization located in Naples, Florida, requires an experienced fundraising professional to lead its advancement program as the globe’s leading resource for research, programs, and education in the field of historical and meaningful automobiles.
Revs Institute is acknowledged to possess one of the world’s greatest automobile collections of more than 130 European and American cars that span more than 100 years. Revs also curates an equally comprehensive and globally significant body of archives, images, periodicals and books . Revs enjoys an impeccable global reputation and is poised to become the thought leader and most useful resource for th e multi-billion dollar, passion-driven, but underserved automobile industry.
The Opportunity
Internationally recognized as a respected thought leader and resource for research and innovation in the field of collecting, restoring, experiencing, and appreciating historical automobiles, Revs is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking individual as its Chief Development Officer.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, engaging and inspiring advancement professional who is deeply committed to the Revs mission and vision.
The candidate must have compelling non-profit experience, and a charismatic character and spirit that, when combined with a distinguished record of fundraising leadership and success at the executive level, will inspire and grow a true culture of philanthropy at Revs.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in growing annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and membership programs and a strong record of accomplishment of involvement with capital campaigns. Having an unusual ability to build effective relationships with a diverse group of key internal and external constituents, the ideal candidate will understand the importance of also building relationships with the organization's founder, the President and Board of Directors.
