Audiologist - Wichita, KS (on-site)
P/T $40 - $60 per hour (Paid by the case), $85k - $125k F/T

Position Summary : We are seeking an Audiologist to perform office-based audiology evaluations focused on determining the severity, diagnosis, and potential service connection of hearing impairments in Veterans. You will collaborate with a team that includes Audiologists, Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners, all of whom specialize in assessments for the veteran population.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct and interpret various tests to evaluate hearing impairment type and degree, including:
- Air and bone conduction tests
- Speech recognition and discrimination tests
- Tests to assess the site of damage and effects on comprehension and speech
- Review medical records, prior audiograms, and relevant documents to provide an informed opinion on hearing loss causation and prognosis, including considerations for tinnitus.
- Perform otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and equipment calibration checks as needed.
- Use computerized systems for entering, modifying, and accessing information in electronic medical records; draft and review reports in established formats.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Qualifications :
- MS, Au.D., or Ph.D. in Audiology
- Valid Kansas Audiologist License
