A leading name in the packaging industry for over 35 years is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Rocky Mount, NC. The base salary is $50,000-$60,000 plus $15,000-$20,000 in commissions for a total of $65,000-$80,000 total (commissions are uncapped).

Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative will identify and close new business opportunities while managing and nurturing accounts. This role is ideal for a sales professional who is proactive, relationship-driven, and eager to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.
• Identify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their packaging needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of flexible packaging solutions.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of sales experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Must commute to the Rocky Mount office 5 days a week, unless traveling for business.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of packaging products and market trends is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
