Software Engineer, Machine Learning

Responsibilities
- Contribute to all aspects of the Machine Learning development process, including model architecture, data curation, training and inference infrastructures, evaluation pipelines, PEFT, and many other exciting cutting-edge AI technologies as they emerge.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality products.
- Collaborate with product engineers to develop and integrate ML models and features.
- Collaborate with research scientists on original research in the space of foundation models.
- Build reliable and secure systems to power web-based applications.
- Develop prototypes and experiments while researching and developing novel ideas, new AI tools, and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong algorithm, data structure, and coding skills.
- Familiarity with the state of the art in AI.
- Experience in end-to-end ML application development, including data engineering, model tuning, and model serving.
- Experience in NLP.
- 3+ years of relevant working experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of excellence and desire to grow.
- Experience at fast-growing companies or startups.
- Experience in large-scale ML development.
- Exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience.

- The pay range for this position in California is estimated to fall in the base range of approximately $500,000 + Equity.
