Position Overview:

As an Internet Installer Technician , you will be responsible for installing, aligning, and maintaining our equipment to deliver high-quality internet services to our customers. This includes installing antennas, aligning them to our towers, setting up fiber connections, and ensuring all work meets safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Antenna Installation: Install and align customer antennas to connect to our towers.
• Fiber Installation: Perform fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) installations, which may involve trenching, splicing, and testing.
• Roof and Ladder Work: Comfortably and safely work on roofs and ladders to complete installations.
• Customer Setup: Set up and configure routers, modems, and other customer premises equipment (CPE).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, connections, or network performance.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and repairs.
• Communication: Educate customers on the use of their equipment and provide excellent customer service.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to ladder and roof safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in internet, satellite, or similar equipment installation (preferred but not required; we’re willing to train the right candidate).
• Comfort and experience working on ladders and roofs.
• Basic understanding of networking and wireless communication principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of fiber splicing and testing tools.
• Experience with trenching and running underground cable.
• Certification in networking, fiber optics, or related fields (a plus).

Work Location:
