POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking for a Health Services Manager at our Coin St-Paul residence in Trois-Rivières.
Permanent full-time day position, 40 hours per week, every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct, supervise and mobilize the work of the care staff under his management
Perform all other tasks related to his duties
Plan human resources and ensure the timely replacement of care staff as needed
To provide health and wellness care with the goal of maintaining and restoring health and preventing disease
Administration
Ensure that partner files are compliant with coporate standards
Management
Create and maintain the necessary protocols for prevention and for the provisioning of appropriate care to the residents
Health Care
Carry out clinical assessments of residents and update treatment plans according to their specific needs
Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
Ensure good communication as well as medical follow-ups with the vested parties
Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
Member of the OIIAQ or the or OIIQ
At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing with a minimum of 1 year in administration
Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
Nursing Management Experience
Experience in personnel management
Experience in human resources management, an asset
Ease in the use of computer tools
