Responsibility/Purpose of Job:

Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include all activities associated with helping operators with job functions, set-up, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
2. Obtain and understand production docket according to print schedule.
3. Ensure all appropriate supplies are at the press – ink, plates, stock, etc.
4. Comply to all SOP’s and Quality Procedures.
5. General maintenance, and housekeeping of department.
6. Perform other duties as assigned to you by your pressman and or feeder.

Job Conditions and Environment:

Plant environment with exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, and noise (hearing, eye and foot protection required). Standing and walking 100% of shift on a concrete floor. Some stairs. Lifting 40 pounds.
