Modern Asian restaurant looking for hard working sous to take lead and direct our kitchen team. We want someone who is creative, driven and excited to bring our establishment into the new year. Dedication to cleanliness, organization, consistency and an overall sense of pride in their work is very important to the role.
The expansive beverage program features a craft cocktail program and a blossoming wine program. The restaurant has 150 seats set over two floors that includes our 10-seat bar.
Are you a driven and dedicated sous chef looking for the leap into a larger role? We need someone to help level up our existing menu and execute each dish with the utmost care and consistency.
Asian restaurant experience preferred, must have strong financial acumen with a focus on DOH cleanliness and organization.
Essential Job Functions: Responsible for multiple aspects of managing and leading kitchen personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and all proper handling/storage of all food items in accordance with standards. Coordinates the purchase of all food and menu development, maintaining food and labor costs with the Head Chef and GM.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as Chef in upscale, high-volume restaurant
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds
- Certification in NYC Food Protection License required
