Job ResponsibilitiesYou will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities:Will drive the mobile WIC unit which provides services to WIC clients in the community and surrounding communities within the West Central Health District. Will be responsible for setting up/breaking down trailer, loading truck/trailer with equipment/supplies for transportation to work site, transport WIC employees to designated Housing areas in the district, operates/maintains generator, operates truck and refuels as needed ensuring both are serviced when necessary. Will assist clients when they enter and depart from the mobile unit, ensuring safety at all times.Performs all other duties as assigned.Must be approved by West Central Health District's Vehicle Insurance carrier prior to hire. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED AND valid driver's license. Must be able to meet West Central Health District's MVR guidelines. Must be able to work flexible hours and have reliable transportation. Additional InformationAll West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to: staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD).
