Job Description:

What You'll Get to Do in This Role:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, ensuring high-quality care at every stage.
- Delegate care tasks to nursing personnel based on licensure, training, and job descriptions, fostering an efficient team approach.
- Contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, ensuring compliance with the Joint Commission and other relevant regulatory or accrediting agencies.
- Coordinate patient care , offering education and decision-making support to empower patients throughout their care journey.
- Act as a central point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers, facilitating access to clinical and supportive services within Essentia and the community.
- Collaborate with the care team in conferences and committees to develop personalized, optimal care plans for each patient.
- Work with external service providers and community organizations to deliver patient education, outreach, and support, enhancing the overall patient experience.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
Oncology Certification Nurse (OCN) within 2 years of hire
