Job Description

As an Human Resources Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting the HR Department and other departmental managers in the day-to-day operations of Human Resources. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training, record keeping and employee engagement. This position will also respond to internal and external inquiries regarding benefits, employment, policies and other HR related issues. This is a fun dynamic role whose main purpose is employee satisfaction, a great working culture/mentor and motivated part of the HR Team. This position is onsite and supports multiple hotels within the Central Coast Collection.
Responsibilities of the Ideal Candidate :
Essential Job Duties

  • Foster a positive culture within the hotel to include leading by example and providing guidance and support to all management and team member
  • Oversee TBO recruiting and full cycle recruiting including onboarding, inprocessing and orienting new hires
  • Support learning and development initiatives in the hotel to achieve training, skills and knowledge goals
  • Facilitate learning and development training workshops including new hire orientation, CA food safety, RBS, anti harassment, Designated Coaches and monthly lunch and learn
  • Plan, coordinate and execute employee functions and recognition programs
  • Responsible for HR administrative task including good documentation practice
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards
  • Follow safety and security procedures
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations
  • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards
  • Follow all additional duties as assigned by management
Pay starts at: $20-$22 hourly based on experience

Experience and Education:
  • Minimum of 1 years of Human Resources experience, administrative or hotel
  • Recruiting experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
  • Ascend and descend a ladder
Work Hours
  • Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts on hotel property.
