Job Description:
Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify.
This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with varied 8-hour shifts, primarily in the mornings, Monday through Friday and may be expected to work weekends or evenings as needed to train. The role involves providing education across the entire Scripps system and traveling to support all Scripps locations offering ultrasound services. This position is located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications:
BLS from the American Heart Association.
ARDMS or CCI
Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting, including 3 or more years in ultrasound, with at least 1 year in a lead or quality control role.
Preferred Qualifications:
OB/GYN, Breast, AB, MSK and PS certified.
Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) or hospital training program.
Teaching Ultrasonography in College/Hospital based Sonography programs.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) or hospital training program.
