Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a pod of two attorneys, a paralegal and Legal Assistant to Represent Clients in Family law matters,
- Confidently represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and negotiations.
- Draft detailed and effective legal documents, including pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, and judgments for diverse family law cases.
- Develop tailored legal strategies to address each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Manage sensitive and high-stakes family law matters such as divorce, custody, child support, property division, and domestic violence cases.
- Effectively communicate with clients, providing clear updates and guidance throughout their case.
- Ensure all client files are well-organized and up to date.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of family law experience, with expertise in divorce, custody, child support, and domestic violence cases.
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with Massachusetts family law, including property division and spousal support. A desire to practice in a second area of law is a plus.
- Empathy and Professionalism: Ability to manage emotionally charged cases with sensitivity and a client-first approach.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Exceptional communication and advocacy skills to represent clients both in and out of court.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Collaborative attitude and commitment to delivering top-quality legal services.
- Licensure: Active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (ABA membership preferred).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $205,000+, based on experience and performance.
