Specific Duties:

• Assist the physician with injections and EKGs.
• Prepare charts, room patients, scan/fax records, handle phone intake calls, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Organize, stock, and clean exam rooms.
• Perform PT/INR tests.
• Maintain quality control standards.

Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• 2+ years of experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Experience with ICD-9/10 and CPT coding.
• Proficiency with eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health records system.

Certification Required:

• National or Registered Medical Assistant certification from the American Medical Association.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
