Full Job Description

Fire Engineering Company, Inc. is hiring Fire Alarm Inspectors to join our Preventative Maintenance and Testing department.

Job Description:

• Perform inspection of Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Systems including Clean Agent.
• Assist the Fire Sprinkler Division.
• Service and test all systems.
• Perform Integrated Building Systems Testing.
• Provide Support to Fire Alarm Technicians as needed.
• Complete electronic inspection reports.
• Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s license – Clean driving record.
• NICET Certified is preferred but not required.
• Utah Fire Alarm license.
• Utah Fire Sprinkler license.
• Two years of experience in the fire protection industry is required.
• Have an understanding of NFPA, building, and fire codes.
• Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
