About the Job:

We're searching for a visionary and experienced Game Director to lead the development of Mystic Kingdoms. You'll be the driving force behind our game's creative vision, ensuring it's a fun, engaging, and unforgettable experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, full benefits package, and startup equity.

What You'll Do:

• Shape the player experience: You'll guide the overall creative vision for Mystic Kingdoms, from core gameplay mechanics and art style to story and character development.
• Lead the team: Guide a skilled team of artists, designers, engineers, and other game development specialists, ensuring they're working effectively and collaboratively to achieve the project goals.
• Maintain the project vision: Keep the team focused on delivering a high-quality MOBA experience that aligns with Playgig's standards and resonates with players.
• Oversee game design and balance: Ensure the gameplay is engaging, balanced, and offers a deep and rewarding experience for players of all skill levels.
• Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in the MOBA genre and gaming industry to ensure Mystic Kingdoms remains competitive and innovative.
• Champion a positive work environment: Foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where team members can thrive.

What You Need:

• Sense of urgency, scrappy, hard-working
• Startup experience
• Experience using the Unity engine
• Strong understanding of game balance and monetization strategies
• Been Lead Designer or Game Director for 5+ years

• MOBA expertise: Deep understanding of the MOBA genre, including game mechanics, design principles, and player expectations.
• Strong leadership skills: Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team to achieve a common goal.
• Excellent communication skills: You can clearly communicate your vision and provide constructive feedback.
• Passion for gaming: You're a dedicated gamer with a love for MOBAs and a desire to create amazing gaming experiences.
