Director of Project Management – Prestige Beauty

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development : Provide daily guidance to a team of four Product Development Managers, ensuring projects stay on track from concept through the first production run.
• Project Oversight : Define scopes, timelines and milestones while proactively identifying and resolving challenges to ensure successful execution of end to end product development projects.
• Client Engagement : Partner with Product Development Managers in client meetings to align on strategies, address challenges and deliver solutions.
• Process Improvement : Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to create structure and flexibility for diverse client needs.
• Performance Tracking : Create and manage a real-time dashboard to monitor progress, track milestones and provide performance insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with supply chain, R&D, regulatory teams, contract manufacturer and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communication Standards : Elevate team communication to ensure clarity and alignment with leadership on key decisions and action plans.
• Supplier Base Expansion : Guide the team in sourcing and managing a robust supplier base for components, focusing on pricing insights and vendor relations.
• Continuous Improvement : Conduct post-project analyses to refine processes, improve timelines and enhance risk management strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading product development and driving key milestones, with a proven ability to pivot as challenges arise.
• Strong track record of guiding teams through growth and transition periods while maintaining focus on business objectives.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized, with the capacity to quickly adapt and develop scalable processes in a dynamic environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with sound judgment and strategic leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to balance the big picture with near-term deliverables.
• Proficiency in project management tools and systems *PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong managerial and mentoring abilities to lead a team on complex tasks and foster professional growth.
