Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, production, and inventory management to streamline operations and maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
2. Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
3. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
4. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
5. Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain function and implement appropriate solutions.
6. Analyze data related to supplier performance, lead times, transportation costs, etc., to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations relating to transportation, customs clearance, import/export laws, etc.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role in the apparel industry is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles including procurement strategies, inventory management techniques,
demand forecasting methods, and logistics operations.
4.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions based on insights gathered
5.Outstanding organizational skills with an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively in afast-paced environment
6.Strong communication and negotiation skills for building relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams
7.Proficientin using ERP systems, such as SAPorOracle, and other relevant software applications.
