We are seeking an individual to work as a Health Research Grants Portfolio Analyst at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. This role is estimated to support a hybrid work arrangement that includes on-site work (1 day/week) at the NIH in Bethesda, MD

KEY TASKS
(1) Support data analysis and program evaluation portfolio on various topics in health and biomedical research and training
(2) Lead analysis of programmatic and portfolio data to support program assessments and planning for grants portfolios
(3) Plan, design, coordinate, and implement evaluative studies with tools and systems for qualitative data collection and analysis
(4) Conduct quantitative data analysis using methods for portfolio and bibliometric analysis
(5) Prepare, write, and edit evaluation reports and products related to grants program
(6) Prepare background information as well as conduct and summarize technical research on policy topics.
(7) Compile data and prepare graphs, slides and presentations
(8) Analyze and evaluate findings and recommend more efficient, effective and economical ways to accomplish policy objectives.
(9) Develop, implement, and monitor data analysis and evaluation plan, including performance metrics, data collection instruments, and strategies to monitor progress
KEY REQUIREMENTS
(1) Master’s degree in Public Health, Community Health, Statistics, or related social science discipline
(2) Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis including working with large datasets
(3) Experience developing and implementing program evaluation studies and associated metrics
(4) Experience with Microsoft Excel, SAS, Tableau, and/or related software for data analysis and visualization
(5) Knowledge of NIH grants and funding mechanisms as well as other research agreements preferred
