Client Overview: One of our esteemed clients in the Atlanta area is seeking to expand their team with a dedicated and highly skilled Conflicts Analyst. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of conflicts within a prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and extensive experience in the legal industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough conflict-of-interest checks for new business, clients, and matters, ensuring compliance with firm policies and ethical guidelines.
  • Utilize conflicts management software (e.g., Aderant, Intapp) to perform conflict searches and generate reports.
  • Work closely with attorneys, partners, and other departments to assess potential conflicts and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any conflicts identified, ensuring a prompt and accurate resolution.
  • Review and analyze client and matter intake forms, maintaining accurate conflict-related records.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in conflict of interest regulations and best practices within the legal industry.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff on conflicts processes and software usage.
  • Assist with creating and refining internal procedures to improve the efficiency of conflict checks.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree is required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a law firm environment, with a focus on conflict analysis and resolution.
  • Proficiency in using conflicts management software, such as Aderant, Intapp, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of legal ethics, conflict-of-interest issues, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
